A Triumph at the Global RLI Awards in London for Fiba Commercial Properties
Managing leasing and operations for over 800,000 m² of leasable commercial real estate across Turkey, Europe, and the Far East, Fiba Commercial Properties (Fiba CP) continues to stand out globally with its achievements. At the Global RLI Awards 2024, one of the most prestigious events in the international retail and leisure industry, Fiba CP achieved significant recognition with its projects.
İnegöl Shopping Mall, managed and invested by Fiba CP, received the “High Commendation” Award in the International Shopping Centre Renovation category. Meanwhile, Downtown Bursa Living and Entertainment Center, also managed and leased by Fiba CP, won in the International Retail and Leisure Destination category. Both projects marked remarkable successes on the international stage.
Global Jury Commends İnegöl AVM
The jury at the Global RLI Awards 2024 highlighted İnegöl AVM under the theme of “High Efficiency”, praising:
The increase in visitor numbers
Growth in retailer turnover
Strong brand and tenant mix
Functional and efficient architecture
Contribution to the city center
Through these elements, İnegöl AVM was showcased as an exemplary project in terms of efficiency and sustainability.
A Transformation Story Behind Success
The award was won thanks to the innovative and sustainable practices implemented during İnegöl AVM’s renovation. As part of the “Transformation Story” Project, approximately 2 tons of wooden ceiling blocks were reused within the mall. From these, benches were designed for visitor use, while 300 kg of recycled natural wood was turned into a special play area for children.
This eco-friendly initiative prevented the cutting of around 80 trees, highlighting İnegöl AVM as not only a consumer-oriented space but also a responsible and exemplary project in the sector.
Carrying the Shopping Experience into the Future
Selected among nearly 75 projects from 10 countries, İnegöl AVM’s recognition in its category was especially meaningful as it was the only project to win an award in its segment.

Kahraman further noted that the project has already won multiple awards, including the European Property Awards and U.S.-based MarCom Awards, proving the global recognition of Fiba CP’s renovation expertise.
Downtown Bursa: A Unique Retail and Leisure Destination
Highlighting another success, Kahraman said:
