Inegol Shopping Mall, an investment of one of the leading global commercial real estate investors Fiba Commercial Properties, continues to stand out with its exemplary projects that create value together with its successful renovations.
Inegol Shopping Mall won the grand prize in the categories of Retail Development and Retail Architecture at the European Property Awards - EPA, which has been held since 1995 with the aim of bringing together the prestige and excellence of the real estate sector and leading the creation of international standards in this field. Fiba CP CEO and Board Member Yurdaer Kahraman stated that they received the grand prize, considered one of the prestigious awards of the sector, on behalf of all Fiba CP employees who contributed to the project, saying “We dreamed of an exemplary project not only from an architectural standpoint but also from a social aspect and we successfully brought this to life." As one of the best examples of the international experience of our architectural team in renewal, expansion, development, and renovation experience, we conducted the renovation process of our Inegol Shopping Mall simultaneously with shopping mall operations without losing speed and successfully completed on the scheduled date despite the global difficulties faced in recent years. At the same time, this also shows the success and quality outlook of our Rental and Asset Management service which we provide domestically and internationally. As FIBA CP, we have focused on sustainability and creating social value in all of our investments and the projects we manage and we have once again seen how correct this effort is with the awards we have received.
The corporate social responsibility award also goes to Inegol Shopping Mall
In addition to the European Property Awards grand prize, Inegol Shopping Mall received a gold medal in the category of Corporate Social Responsibility at the MarCom Awards held in the USA with its Transformation Story Project, which is realised during the renovation. Within the scope of the Transformation Story project, wooden blocks weighing approximately two tonnes were removed from the ceiling as a part of the renovation project were transformed and put back into use inside the shopping center. Eight benches were built with a thousand kilograms of wooden blocks and the number of areas where visitors could rest in the common areas within the mall was increased. A playground where children can have fun with their friends was created in Inegol Mall by using completely natural products with approximately 300 kilograms of wood sent for recycling. Inegol Shopping Mall, which cleaned the 300 kilograms of leftover wood and put it aside to use in the future, saved a total of 80 trees from being cut down through the recycling efforts it carried out.
