Fiba CP Announces Strategic Growth of More Than 100,000 Square Meters in Türkiye and Eastern Europe

Fiba Commercial Properties (Fiba CP), which leases and manages numerous commercial real estate projects in Türkiye and internationally, took part in Retail Days, held at the Haliç Congress Center in Istanbul on June 3–4. At this year’s 25th Retail Days, Fiba CP, which operates in five countries, announced that it has added more than 100,000 square meters of new commercial space to its portfolio in line with its growth strategy.

Speaking at the cocktail reception held at the Fiba CP booth, Fiba CP CEO and Board Member Yurdaer Kahraman said: “At Fiba CP, we are carrying out major operations as we build next-generation spaces that redefine the visitor experience at M1 Adana Mall. With our projects in Moldova and Kosovo, we are also keeping up our momentum in Eastern Europe at full pace.”

Retail Days, one of the retail industry’s most important events, is taking place for the 25th time this year at the Haliç Congress Center on June 3–4. Sharing its strategic roadmap with the industry’s leading names, Fiba CP is strengthening its presence by growing its existing assets and by taking on the leasing and management of new mixed-use projects. Playing a proactive role in an investment climate that is gaining momentum, particularly in Eastern Europe, Fiba CP continues its global growth at full pace.

Operating in five countries with mixed-use projects spanning retail, office, residential, and hotel uses, Fiba CP is preparing to add more than 100,000 square meters of new leasable area to its portfolio through projects advancing simultaneously in Türkiye, Moldova, and Kosovo.

Growth at M1 Adana Mall with 27 New Units

First among Fiba CP’s growth moves in Türkiye is a new commercial space investment at M1 Adana Mall. The project is creating 27 new units with 3,500 square meters of new leasable commercial space, to be integrated into M1 Adana Mall.

Made up of stores, kiosks, and pop-up spaces, the project will appeal to young and upper-middle-income visitors with a tenant mix focused on the accessible luxury segment in the fashion, accessories, cosmetics, and lifestyle categories. Developed in partnership with Erdemoğlu Holding, the project is set to become one of the region’s new destinations with its modern architecture and experience-driven design. This investment, a major milestone in M1 Adana Mall’s transformation journey, will further strengthen the mall’s leading and pioneering position.

The Balkans’ New Destination in Kosovo: Alba City Center

Another key step in Fiba CP’s regional growth strategy is rising in Kosovo. Alba City Center, an Alba Group investment under construction in Pristina that draws on Fiba CP’s expertise in architectural concept design, leasing, and management, is set to open its doors in April 2027. With a total construction area of 270,000 square meters, the mixed-use project is poised to become one of the Balkans’ new lifestyle and shopping centers, offering 21,660 square meters of leasable area, 74 select stores, and parking for 400 vehicles. With its location in the heart of the city and an approach that brings together urban life, social spaces, and experience-driven uses, Alba City Center also aims to bring new value to the region.

An 85,000-Square-Meter Leap in Moldova

Anchor Group, Fiba CP’s affiliate in Eastern Europe, is undertaking two major projects in Chișinău in partnership with Summa. Ground has been broken on the first of these, the Moldova Life Center mixed-use project, with an investment value of €40 million. Bringing together the Marriott Moxy and Residence Inn by Marriott hotels, Medpark City Clinic, and Zaxi Restaurant, the project has a total area of 25,000 square meters. Moldova Life Center is expected to make Chișinău a major regional hub for business and health tourism. The second pillar of Fiba CP’s growth in Moldova is a new shopping mall project with 60,000 square meters of leasable area. Set to become Moldova’s largest shopping mall, the project aims to make a significant contribution to the country’s retail infrastructure. Together, these two strategic investments add a total of 85,000 square meters of new space to the company’s commercial leasable area portfolio in Moldova, further consolidating its operational strength in the country and its regional presence.

Yurdaer Kahraman: “We Are a Key Part of Accelerating Investment and Project Development in Eastern Europe”

Noting that Retail Days, one of the industry’s most important gatherings, gave the company the opportunity to share not only its current projects but also its growth vision and international investment strategies for the period ahead, Fiba CP CEO and Board Member Yurdaer Kahraman said: “At Fiba CP, while running a strong, well-established operation in Türkiye, we are becoming part of the accelerating investment and project development activity in Eastern Europe. With our investment at M1 Adana Mall, we are developing next-generation commercial spaces that redefine the visitor experience, and with our projects in Moldova and Kosovo, we are growing on a global scale. Today, success in retail and commercial real estate is measured less by square meters than by projects that add value to people’s lives and to the urban economy. That is exactly where we are focused: in every market, we aim to create lifestyle centers that are sustainable and experience-driven and that generate long-term value.”
