European Award for M1 Adana Mall

The European Property Awards, a symbol of prestige and excellence, have announced their winners. M1 Adana Mall won an award in the Retail Development category of the European Property Awards 2018–2019. The awards aim to raise awareness of projects around the world that have achieved high standards and excellence in real estate.

At the European Property Awards gala ceremony, held at The Royal Lancaster Hotel in London, the award was accepted on behalf of M1 Adana Mall by Gündüz Bayer, General Manager of METRO Properties and Regional Manager for Asia, and Yurdaer Kahraman, CEO and Board Member of Fiba Commercial Properties.

“In the future, everything will be built on what already exists. To keep pace with the dynamics of the times, every shopping mall will want to adapt to change and renew its concept and tenant mix accordingly. The only way to make success sustainable is to focus on change,” said Gündüz Bayer, highlighting the important steps M1 Adana has taken in its renewal, change, and transformation. “We are proud of the international success our project has achieved,” Bayer added.

Noting that M1 Adana Mall has taken its success to even greater heights since the renovation and expansion project completed in 2017, Yurdaer Kahraman said: “In managing our investments in Türkiye and abroad, we make a point of listening first to the demands and wishes of the local community, our tenants, and our team. The awards are given for high quality standards achieved in design and construction, property development and presentation, interiors, architectural design, and marketing. They are presented to projects not on the assessment of a sponsor or a jury, but on the evaluation, by a panel of expert judges, of the success achieved in a particular category or discipline.
