Continuing its leasing and management activities of various commercial real estate projects in Turkey and worldwide, Fiba Commercial Properties participated in the Retail Days held at Haliç Congress Center on 1-2 June 2022. One of the leading commercial real estate investors of Turkey, Fiba Commercial Properties (Fiba CP) attended the Retail Days held at Haliç Congress Center on 1-2 June 2022. Exchanging the latest developments and information about projects with its stakeholders at its stand, Fiba CP also shared the excitement of new projects with the attendants.
Fiba CP CEO and Board Member Yurdaer Kahraman highlighted that in all of its projects, Fiba CP’s focus is to create added value for investors, brands and public. Kahraman said that Fiba CP ecosystem will continue to gain and create social advantages with every one of its new projects.
Fiba CP grows with new projects!
As of 2022, Fiba CP has been operating in 4 countries with 11 shopping malls, more than 700,000 m2 of leasable areas, 4 residences, 5 office buildings, 3 cinema complexes and hotel investments. Fiba CP, which has undertaken the management and leasing of the shopping mall area of DownTown Life and Entertainment Center, which is thought to be the new attraction center of Bursa in 2022, continues its engagements for new projects. Fiba CP has also undertaken the leasing and management processes of Sky Tower, the highest office project of Bursa. Another project in which Fiba CP team is preparing to add value in management and leasing will be located in Antalya.

Yurdaer Kahraman mentioned that shopping malls are very important for morale and motivation of the society today, and the mission of shopping malls has exceeded shopping especially for the last 10 years. Reminding the crowdedness of shopping malls after the quarantine of the pandemic process, Kahraman said: "Many people interpreted the demand for shopping malls at that time as a negative reflection of the consumer society. According to our perspective, this trend was a sign of people's longing for joining the crowd, socializing, and routine. Shopping malls are not just places where cosmetics or clothes are purchased, these are the points where the heart of the city beats - the squares of our age. 99 percent occupancy rate of all our shopping malls in the world indicates this.” Kahraman said that this approach takes the mission of shopping malls one step further in giving social messages and setting an example.
