We see contributing to the social, cultural, and economic development of the regions where we operate as an important part of our responsibility. Through projects in areas ranging from education to cultural heritage and from social solidarity to support for local production, we aim to create inclusive and lasting value for society.
Social Solidarity
We help ensure that support reaches people in need through the right channels, and by encouraging a culture of sharing, we bring our employees, visitors, and stakeholders together in shared acts of kindness. The “El Ele, Elden Ele İyilik” project we launched at İnegöl Mall is one example of this approach.
Cultural and Social Values
We care about keeping cultural values alive, supporting local know-how, and passing these values on to future generations. With the “Gelenekten Geleceğe” project at İnegöl Mall, we brought traditional arts to visitors and helped raise the profile of local artisans.
Local Production and Economic Inclusion
We build partnerships that support local production and make it easier for different groups in society to take part in economic life. In our malls, through initiatives with local governments and women’s cooperatives, we offer temporary sales and workshop space to women who make handcrafted products, and we give products made by older people and people with disabilities a chance to reach visitors.
Education & Development
We support educational, scientific, environmental, cultural, and awareness initiatives that contribute to the development of children and young people. Through partnerships with schools, civil society organizations, and specialist institutions, we aim to make learning more accessible, participatory, and lasting.
Equal Opportunity in Education
We contribute to efforts that support children’s access to quality education and their development from an early age. In our work with the Mother Child Education Foundation (AÇEV), we focus on empowering families and advancing equal opportunity in education, as well as on children’s development.
Children’s Development and Learning Experiences
We also see our shopping malls as social spaces where children can learn while having fun. With an edutainment approach that combines education and entertainment, we bring topics such as science, the environment, art, culture, and safety to life through interactive experiences, nurturing children’s curiosity, creativity, and social development.
Volunteering Projects
We encourage our employees to contribute to society with their knowledge, time, and experience. We help this culture grow through Fiba Volunteers and FibaRunners, both run under the Fiba Group umbrella, and through volunteering work with civil society organizations.
